School History
Redbud Run Elementary School opened in 1996 welcoming students from the old Stonewall Elementary School and some students from Senseny Road Elementary School. The school was built on an old farm and during the construction of the school a sign was found that named the area Red Bud Farm. The school was named for the stream, Redbud Run, that runs through the property near where the school is located. In 2014 five additional classrooms were constructed to create additional space for full-day kindergarten that began in August of 2014.
